Rheinmetall CEO: In talks with Airbus on satellite cooperation

BERLIN, March 11 (Reuters) - Rheinmetall RHMG.DE is in talks with Airbus AIR.PA about collaborating on building satellites quickly for Germany, said the German defence company's CEO, Armin Papperger, on Wednesday.
Rheinmetall is considering a cooperation or joint venture with German satellite maker OHB OHBG.DE that should be finalised shortly, he said after the firm published its 2025 results.
"But we want to deliver results quickly for Germany, we want to deliver them quickly and effectively, and we want to utilize the capacities that all the players have," he told journalists.
"And there is indeed discussion about a collaboration, including with Airbus, to achieve this speed."
