Russian forces take control of three villages in eastern Ukraine, reports say

MOSCOW, March 2 (Reuters) - Russia's Defence Ministry said on Monday that its forces had taken control of the villages of Riznykivka and Drobysheve in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region, as well as Kruhle in Kharkiv region, Russian news agencies reported.
Reuters could not independently verify the battlefield report.
