Magnitude 5.8 earthquake strikes Japan, GFZ says

- An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 struck Kyushu, in Japan, the German Research Centre for Geosciences said on Sunday.

The quake was at a depth of 122 km (75.81 miles), GFZ said.
