
Feb 9 (Reuters) - Bangladesh and the United States signed a reciprocal tariff agreement on Monday, with Washington further reducing its tariff rate to 19%, Bangladesh Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus said on X.
"In addition, the U.S. committed to establishing a mechanism for certain textile and apparel goods from Bangladesh using U.S. produced cotton and man-made fiber to receive zero reciprocal tariff in US market," Yunus said.
