
SAO PAULO, Feb 9 (Reuters) - Brazilian lender BTG Pactual BPAC11.SA reported a fourth-quarter adjusted net income of 4.6 billion reais ($881.95 million) on Monday, up 40.3% from the previous year, and mostly in line with the 4.56 billion reais estimated in an LSEG poll.
Total revenue came in at 9.09 billion reais, a 35.1% year-on-year increase, BTG said in a securities filing, also exceeding the 8.9 billion reais forecast by the poll. Adjusted return on average equity, a gauge of profitability, stood at 27.6%, up from 23% a year earlier.
