NFL-Seattle running back Kenneth Walker III named Super Bowl Most Valuable Player

SANTA CLARA, California, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Seattle running back Kenneth Walker III was named Super Bowl LX Most Valuable Player on Sunday after rushing for 135 yards on 27 carries to lead the Seahawks to a 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots at Levi's Stadium.
Walker became the first running back to win Super Bowl MVP since Denver's Terrell Davis in 1998.
"Winning, it's just a dream come true because a lot of people play their whole career and never make it this far," the 25-year-old told Sunday Night Football.
Seattle sacked Patriots quarterback Drake Maye six times -- including one that resulted in a fumble returned for a late touchdown -- and got five Jason Myers field goals.
Their offence struggled, however, with quarterback Sam Darnold connecting with AJ Barner for his only touchdown.
Walker's performance, averaging five yards per carry with a long run of 30 yards, proved decisive as Seattle claimed its second Super Bowl title and avenged its loss to the Patriots in the Super Bowl 11 years ago.
