
MEXICO CITY, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Mexico's state-owned oil firm Pemex on Wednesday said that it currently has one contract in force with Cuba, which has been in place since 2023, the company's CEO Victor Rodriguez Padilla said during the daily morning press conference of Mexican president Claudia Sheinbaum.
Rodriguez said that oil exports to Cuba will continue as long as there is is crude available to ship to the island, yet added that the priority is to refine locally.
