- Ukraine's international government bonds rallied on Tuesday as hopes for a ceasefire in the nearly four year-long war with Russia continued to build.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that he may soon have some "good news" on ceasefire efforts. The Financial Times reported Ukraine had agreed with Western partners that any persistent Russian violations of a future ceasefire would trigger a co-ordinated, multi-tiered military response.

Ukraine's government bonds, which are highly sensitive to the war due to the impact on the economy, jumped as much as 1.5 cents, leaving the majority of them XS2895055981=TE, XS2895056369=TE at their highest since they were restructured in September 2024.
