Engine makers and smaller suppliers to blame for aircraft production delays, lessor DAE says

DUBLIN, Jan 26 (Reuters) - The head of aircraft lessor Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Capital said the biggest issues holding back jet manufacturing involve engine makers and other smaller suppliers.
"There's just no easy way to reconcile why we are still where we are relative to where we used to be in terms of how long it takes to manufacture something, deliver something or to agree to commit to do that," Firoz Tarapore told the Airline Economics conference.
