Romania's Dan welcomes "normal" transatlantic ties, mulls Trump peace board

WARSAW, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Romanian President Nicușor Dan welcomed on Thursday what he called a return to "normal parameters" in transatlantic relations following dialogue with the United States.
Speaking before an emergency summit of European Union leaders in Brussels, he said: "My general message is that we need this transatlantic relationship, Europe and Romania, and it is very good that following dialogue the relative escalation diminished and we are back to normal parameters."
Dan said Romania was still analyzing whether to join U.S. President Donald Trump's "Board of Peace".
