The U.S is still Lithuania's closest friend, Lithuanian president says

BRUSSELS, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Lithuania still treats the United States as its closest friend, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda said ahead of an emergency summit among EU leaders in Brussels on Thursday.
"Cooperation should be the keyword instead of confrontation," Nauseda told reporters.
He added that it was important for the U.S. and the European Union solve all security issues together, through cooperation.
