ANKARA, Jan 21 (Reuters) - Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that Kurdish forces in northern Syria must lay down weapons and immediately disband so that a resolution can be found without further bloodshed, after Damascus gave them four days to agree on integrating into the central state.
In a speech to lawmakers from his AK Party in parliament, Erdogan said he welcomed Tuesday's ceasefire agreement between Damascus and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces after lightning government advances in recent days.
