ELECTRIC CARS
According to the Automotive Market Research Institute Samar, demand for electric vehicles could fall by half or more for some time after the closure of the government support programme for the purchase of electric cars, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
Demand is expected to recover later, but it will not return to its current pace of growth.
AVIATION
Poland's aviation market is among the fastest-growing in Europe, with double-digit growth expected to push passenger numbers above 65 million in 2025 and spur investments already running into the billions of zlotys, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
MIGRATION
Last year saw an increase in the number of applications filed by foreigners seeking recognition as Polish citizens, with 19,600 applications submitted compared with 16,100 a year earlier, while the number of refusals also rose, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna daily reported.

It would be preferable to reduce tensions between the United States and Europe over tariffs, Polish Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski said on Wednesday, adding that, nevertheless, Europe must be firm and remain united.
