UN members free to associate in different groups after Trump's Board of Peace announcement, spokesperson says

WASHINGTON, Jan 18 (Reuters) - United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres "believes member states are free to associate in different groups," his spokesperson said on Sunday when asked about a draft U.S. charter for a Board of Peace.
"The United Nations will continue with its mandated work," deputy U.N. spokesperson Farhan Haq said.
