SYDNEY, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Australia and New Zealand investment bank Jarden said on Friday it had hired four bankers from rival boutique adviser Gresham as it looked to build out its resources investment banking team.
Jarden said it had recruited Sydney-based Gresham Managing Director Adam Reid, along with Clarence Fok, Kevin Tian and Samuel Potts to form a resources advisory business.
Reid had previously worked at Credit Suisse and RBC Capital Markets.
He has advised on $7 billion worth of mining-related deals since 2021, including Gold Road Resources' A$3.8 billion sale to Gold Fields GFIJ.J last year, Jarden said.
"Their deep expertise in complex transactions and strong relationships across Australia's resources sector will be invaluable to the firm," Jarden Executive Chairman Aidan Allen said.
