BERLIN, Jan 14 (Reuters) - Germany has no plans to follow France's example and open a regular consulate in Greenland, said a German government spokesperson at a regular press conference on Wednesday.
"Professional consular services for Greenland are provided by our embassy in Copenhagen and we are also currently represented by an honorary consul in Greenland," said the spokesperson.
Honorary consuls have only limited consular authority and thus only limited official means to provide assistance.
