BERLIN, Jan 14 (Reuters) - The German government will take a close look at its trade volumes with Iran, including the types of goods, with an eye to how Berlin could increase pressure on Tehran, said a German government spokesperson on Wednesday.
German-Iranian trade volume amounted to approximately 1.5 billion euros ($1.75 billion) in 2024 and likely declined further in 2025 due to sanctions by the U.S. and EU, said an economy ministry spokesperson at the same press conference.
