
BRUSSELS, Jan 9 (Reuters) - NATO's General Secretary Mark Rutte spoke on Friday with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the importance of the Arctic area for the shared security of the alliance, a spokerson said in a post on the X platform.
Several NATO members expressed concern after the White House said on Tuesday that the U.S. was considering a range of options to acquire Greenland, including the use of military force.
