JOHANNESBURG, Jan 8 - Zambia's finance ministry said on Thursday it will work with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on a new programme following the completion of the current loan arrangement that expires at the end of January.
"The Government has decided not to pursue a one-year extension of the current ECF programme as earlier envisaged. Instead, we now intend to replace it with a full program that runs the full course," the finance ministry said in a statement.
