BERLIN, Jan 7 (Reuters) - The United States did not convincingly demonstrate that its actions in Venezuela were in accordance with international law at a UN Security Council briefing this week, said a German government spokesperson at a press conference on Wednesday.
"We have noted that the Security Council did not reach a joint assessment" on the classification at the meeting, he said.
"That is the current state of affairs as far as the German government is concerned," he added.
