Zelenskiy says allies have determined how post-war deterrence force would operate

KYIV, Jan 6 (Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday that Kyiv's allies had determined how a European deterrence force would operate in Ukraine following a ceasefire, as well as which countries would participate.

Speaking to reporters in Paris after a meeting of the so-called Coalition of the Willing, he added that Ukraine had held concrete discussions with the U.S. on ceasefire monitoring, and that he was counting on security guarantees being signed soon.
