WARSAW, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Prime Minister Donald Tusk of Poland said on Tuesday partners discussing security guarantees for Ukraine had no expectations of a Polish troop presence in the country.
Tusk, in televised comments after a meeting in Paris of Ukraine's allies, said Kyiv was talking seriously about compromise in its war with Russia, and that solidarity must be maintained in transatlantic pressure on Moscow.
Tusk added that unity between Europe and the United States on the Ukraine conflict, triggered by Russia's 2022 invasion, looked to be assured.
