Top US military officer says Venezuela operation included over 150 aircraft

PALM BEACH, Florida, Jan 3 (Reuters) - The top U.S. military officer said on Saturday that the operation involving Venezuela included more than 150 aircraft and was carried out on the direct orders of President Donald Trump.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine said Trump ordered the U.S. military at 10:46 p.m. ET on Friday to move forward with the Venezuela mission.
