Trump tells NYT that Venezuela strikes resulted from 'good planning'

WASHINGTON, Jan 3 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump told the New York Times on Saturday that "a lot of good planning" went into U.S. strikes on Venezuela that resulted in the capture of the country's president, Nicolas Maduro.
"It was a brilliant operation, actually," Trump said.
