Israeli president's office says no talks with Trump since Netanyahu pardon request

Dec 29 (Reuters) - Israeli President Isaac Herzog has not had any conversations with U.S. President Donald Trump since a pardon request for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was submitted several weeks ago, Herzog's office said on Monday.
The statement came shortly after Trump said Herzog had told him that a pardon for Netanyahu was "on its way."
