
BRUSSELS, Dec 28 (Reuters) - European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said following a call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, U.S. President Donald Trump and European leaders on Sunday that there was good progress and that ironclad security guarantees are needed for Ukraine.
"Europe is ready to keep working with Ukraine and our US partners to consolidate this progress. Paramount to this effort is to have ironclad security guarantees from day one," she wrote on social media platform X.
