Putin's aide spoke to U.S. officials by phone, Kremlin says

MOSCOW, Dec 26 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed his foreign policy aide, Yuri Ushakov, to speak to members of the U.S. administration after Moscow received U.S. proposals about a possible Ukrainian peace deal, the Kremlin said on Friday.
It was agreed with the U.S. to continue dialogue, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
