Israeli government has no intention of establishing settlements in Gaza, defence minister says

DUBAI, Dec 23 (Reuters) - The Israeli government has no intention of establishing settlements in Gaza, the country's Defence Minister Israel Katz said in a statement on Tuesday.
Katz said earlier on Tuesday that the military would never fully withdraw from the Gaza Strip for security reasons and that a civilian-military army unit would be established in the Palestinian enclave.
