Venezuelan government rejects seizure of new vessel transporting oil - statement

Dec 20 (Reuters) - The Venezuelan government on Saturday condemned the United States' seizure of an oil tanker, describing it a s a grave act of international piracy.

In an official statement, Caracas vowed that "these acts will not go unpunished" and pledged to take "all corresponding actions, including filing a complaint before the United Nations Security Council, other multilateral organizations, and the governments of the world."
