
WASHINGTON, Dec 19 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he would call on health insurance companies to meet with him in the coming weeks in an effort to get them to cut their prices.
Trump made the remarks at the end of a White House event during which he announced a deal with nine drugmakers to lower prices on pharmaceuticals. The U.S.'s largest health insurance companies include UnitedHealth Group Inc UNH.N, CVS Health's Aetna CVS.N and Cigna CI.N.
