UNITED NATIONS, Dec 12 (Reuters) - The United States is profoundly concerned and incredibly disappointed by the renewed outbreak of violence in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Mike Waltz told the Security Council on Friday.
“Rwanda is leading the region towards increased instability and war,” Waltz told the 15-member council. “We will use the tools at our disposal to hold to account spoilers to peace.”
