
MOSCOW, Dec 11 (Reuters) - Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday that EU countries' "manipulations" with Moscow's frozen assets would not go unanswered.
European Union governments on Thursday started a process to freeze Russian central bank assets immobilised in Europe for the long term to avoid votes every six months on rolling over the freeze, and pave the way to use the money to provide a loan to Ukraine.
