BERLIN, Nov 25 (Reuters) - German Chancellor Friedrich Merz spoke to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on the phone on Tuesday to discuss the status of negotiations over a U.S.-backed peace plan after talks in Geneva on the weekend, a German government spokesperson said.
