Beijing opposes US putting Chinese firms on its 'entity list', commerce ministry says

BEIJING, Oct 10 (Reuters) - China firmly opposes the U.S. putting Chinese firms on its 'entity list' and will take necessary measures to safeguard the legitimate rights of Chinese companies, Beijing's commerce ministry said in a statement on Friday.
China urges the U.S. to correct the "wrong actions" which the ministry said are damaging the rights and interests of businesses, according to the statement.
