WASHINGTON, Sept 30 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that major reforms aimed at streamlining acquisitions and expediting foreign sales of military equipment will soon be announced by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
"The problem is we have to get the companies that make this equipment, we make the best equipment in the world, but they got to make it faster," Trump said during a speech at a rare gathering of military commanders in Quantico, Virginia.
