PARIS, Sept 4 (Reuters) - The United States have been clear on their will to take part in the security guarantees offered to Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday, adding the relevant planning work needed to be finalised with Washington.
"(The United States) have participated in all the work over the past few weeks on their support and their willingness to be part of the security guarantees, so there is no doubt about this," he told reporters after meeting with the "coalition of the wiling", Ukraine's allies.
"It has been said, including publicly by President Trump, and it has been reiterated by the Secretary of State for Defence (Marco Rubio) (...) now it is the planning work that will be finalised with the United States."
