US military kills 11 people in strike on suspected drug vessel: Trump
WASHINGTON, Sept 2 (Reuters) - The U.S. military killed 11 people on Tuesday in a strike on a vessel allegedly carrying drugs in the southern Caribbean, U.S. President Donald Trump said.
"The strike occurred while the terrorists were at sea in International waters transporting illegal narcotics, heading to the United States. The strike resulted in 11 terrorists killed in action," Trump said in a Truth Social post.
