South Korea assembly speaker says unsure if will meet North Korea's Kim in China
SEOUL, Sept 2 (Reuters) - South Korea's National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik said on Tuesday it was unclear if he would have a chance to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his visit to Beijing.
Woo made the comments before leaving for Beijing to attend China's celebration of the formal surrender of Japan in World War Two.
He said continuing high-level exchanges would be crucial to South Korea-China relations, which were beneficial to South Korea's economy.
