Ukraine's dollar bonds drop, some maturities shed more than 2 cents

Aug 21 (Reuters) - Ukraine's dollar bonds fell on Thursday as investors waited for more details on a potential peace deal with Russia.
The 2035 maturity XS2895057177=TE lost over 2.5 cents to bid at 54.68 cents on the dollar, according to Tradeweb. Ukraine's 2036 bond XS2895057334=TE shed over 2.8 cents, the Tradeweb data showed.
Russia said on Wednesday attempts to resolve security issues relating to Ukraine without Moscow's participation were a "road to nowhere," sounding a warning to the West as it scrambles to work out guarantees for Kyiv's future protection.
