QBE promotes Massé to head European claims

Aug 20 - (The Insurer) - QBE has promoted Virginie Massé to the role of head of European claims, effective September 1.
Based in Paris, she will report to Mike East, claims director at QBE European Operations.
Massé joined QBE in September 2023 as claims manager for France.
Prior to this, she was operations director at Fonds de Garantie, a French body that helps compensate victims of road traffic accidents and terrorism.
She has also served as executive claims director at AIG.
QBE on August 8 reported that it beat market estimates with a net profit of $997 million for the first six months of 2025, driven by strong premium growth and lower catastrophe costs.
