Banco do Brasil: ready to handle 'complex' global regulatory issues after court ruling

BRASILIA, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Banco do Brasil BBAS3.SA said on Tuesday it is prepared to deal with "complex, sensitive" issues involving global regulations after a Supreme Court Justice ruled that foreign laws cannot be automatically applied within Brazil.
In a statement, the state-run lender said it operates in full compliance with Brazilian legislation and international standards.
