KYIV, Aug 16 (Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Saturday that Ukraine needed a real, long-lasting peace and not "just another pause" between Russian invasions.
"Security must be guaranteed reliably and in the long term, with the involvement of both Europe and the U.S.," he said on X following his call with the European leaders.
Zelenskiy stressed that territorial issues can only be decided with Ukraine.
