Trump called European leaders to debrief them on Putin meeting
BRUSSELS, Aug 16 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump called EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European leaders to brief them on his Alaska meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, a Commission spokesperson said on Saturday.
Trump met Putin in Alaska on Friday to discuss the war in Ukraine. The talks did not yield a peace deal.
