MOSCOW, Aug 16 (Reuters) - Russia's former President Dmitry Medvedev said on Saturday that the summit in Alaska between President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump had proved it was possible to hold talks without preconditions as the fighting in Ukraine goes on.
