Russia says its stance on Ukraine is unchanged from what Putin set out in June 2024

MOSCOW, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Russia's stance on ending the Ukraine war was set out by President Vladimir Putin in June 2024 and has not changed, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Alexei Fadeev said on Wednesday.
Putin at that time demanded a full Ukrainian withdrawal from four regions of the country that Russia has claimed as its own territory but does not fully control.
