Aug 12 (Reuters) - Perplexity AI has made a $34.5 billion cash offer to buy Chrome from Alphabet's GOOGL.O Google, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday, as U.S. regulators press a landmark antitrust case that may compel the search giant to sell the browser.
