Mexican president taps Maria del Carmen Bonilla as deputy finance minister

MEXICO CITY, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has nominated Maria del Carmen Bonilla as deputy finance minister, local media outlets reported on Tuesday.
Bonilla currently leads the ministry's public credit and international affairs unit.
The deputy role has been unfilled since March, when previous occupant Edgar Zamora was promoted to finance minister.
