Aug 7 (Reuters) - Welfare of India's farmers was supreme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday, hours after the United States imposed an additional 25% tariff on import of Indian goods.
"I will have to pay a heavy personal price for this but I am ready," he said, addressing a function in New Delhi.
