Zelenskiy says he discussed Russia sanctions, drone deal with Trump

KYIV, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday that he spoke with his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump in a conversation that covered sanctions on Russia and the finalisation of a U.S.-Ukraine drone deal.

"The draft agreement on drones has already been prepared by the Ukrainian side, we are ready to discuss it in detail and conclude it," he wrote on X.
