China's top leaders vow to better manage capacity in key industries, state media reports

BEIJING, July 30 (Reuters) - China's top leaders pledged to manage disorderly competition among enterprises and improve capacity management in key industries in the second half of this year, state media Xinhua reported on Wednesday.

China will keep policy continuity and stability while enhancing its flexibility, Xinhua reported, citing highlights of a meeting of the Politburo, a top policy decision-making body of the ruling Communist Party.

The economy faces many risks and challenges, Xinhua reported, adding the country will make efforts to stabilise jobs and companies.

The July Politburo meeting sets the economic course for the remainder of the year, state media reported.
